Chapter-1

Yasmine's POV:

Dread.

It was exactly what I felt when I saw the letter.

I never thought that there will be a day when I will once again be faced by the demons of my past.

21st of September, 2012.

I was only 11 year old but that day changed my entire life, not only mine but also all my other friends as well.

It was very difficult for us to battle our inner demon and overcome that day but together we all tried.

But I didn't think I would once again be brought back to my past.

I wanted to let them all know about the letter but I didn't want the bad memories all flooding back.

I didn't want any of them to experience it again.

So I had decided that I would go there all by myself.

I had to do it.

I had to face my demons once and for all.

Ilyana's POV:

No Way!

This cannot be happening again.

Who is this?

How does this person know about the treehouse incident?

Or is this a prank?

But none of us would prank each other about something like this, we all had to go through so much to overcome the trauma.

Did everyone receive the letter or is it just me?

Gosh! I can't even let them all know about this.

I think I should go back, see who this is and what is it that this person has.

Reem's POV:

Ya Khuda! (Oh God!)

Is the first thing I screamed when I read the letter sent to me.

Panic coursed through my veins. I didn't want to be reminded of the past, it took so much of will power and convincing to stop thinking of what had happened on that day.

I always believed that it was all my fault because of which each one of us had to suffer the trauma, I still do.

But they didn't believe so, they did all they could to make me think the opposite. I believe it was because of the fact that I was the youngest among them all and that they loved me too much.

Even though the letter said not to let anyone else know, I couldn't help but dial Ayra's number.

Before I could press the call button, my phone started ringing, Ayra had called me exactly when I needed her.

"Reem sweetie, are you okay? did yo-" Ayra questioned tensed.

"Ayra I'm not okay, someone sent me a letter and the letter states about the treehouse incident, the person wants me to be there on 3rd, I-" I replied midway of her question.

"Hey, I know, I know, do not panic sweetie, that's exactly why I called you. I received the same letter, don't worry, I won't let anything happen to you. Okay?

We will go there together and I promise not to leave your side." She assured me.

"Okay okay, thank you Ayra, I don't know what I would've done without you." I replied genuinely.

Even though all my friends cared about me and made sure that I was okay and didn't have any nightmares, Ayra was the one who cared a little more than everyone else. She was always there for me no matter what. She treated me like a baby sister.

"You don't have to thank me sweetie, I'd do anything to keep you safe. I love you." She said softly.

"I love you too." I replied.

I knew I had to be strong and with Ayra by my side, I think I can do it.

Ayra's POV:

Shit!

Shit! Shit!

This was impossible! Absolutely impossible.

No one could've known what had happened that day other than the 9 of us.

We had all made a deal to not disclose about it to anyone.

So how come I receive a letter stating about that incident?

I'm not able to comprehend all of this.

I need to find out who sent this letter and why?

But before that I need to make sure if Reem has received this letter or not?

The incident was a nightmare for all of us.

I know how badly that incident had affected her, it was so heartbreaking to see her blame herself for everything, it took us so much of effort and time to convince her otherwise. I dialled her number and as expected she had also received the letter. I made sure to comfort her.

I wanted to ask everyone else but I refrained myself from doing that as I wanted to know who had sent the letter first.

Daniyal's POV:

21st September, 2012

When everything started crashing down for all of us.

We didn't know that one fine evening with each other will turn into a nightmare that haunts each one of us even after almost 12 years.

The letter threw me off guard and who the fuck was this damn Lucifer?

And how dare he think I would follow his damn instructions?

I dialled the guys (Zayn, Ashar,Ahad,Rayyan) numbers and asked them to meet me in my office.

I knew Ayra had taken the day off (which she usually doesn't), so I could meet the guys in the office without her knowing. I didn't want to involve the girls yet. It could be a risk for them.

We have to find out who this person is and what is the thing that he has?

Ashar's POV:

I knew it!

We had all received the letter, we weren't aware if the girls had got it or not, neither did we want to ask them yet.

As soon as Daniyal called us, we all gathered in his office.

Right now we were planning on how to handle the situation. Rayyan being the hacker he is, was trying to find out who sent us the letter, while the rest of us planned on how to attack the person when we meet him.

"Who the fuck names themselves as Lucifer?" Ahad questioned furious.

"Exactly! And he thinks we will follow his instructions, who does he think he is?

Ek baar bas mere haath lag jaye yeh." (Let me catch him once). Ashar said frustrated.

"Guys relax, the most important thing right now is if the girls have received the letter or not and secondly what is this beloved thing that this man is talking about. We have no clue." Daniyal said calmly.

He has always been the calm one amongst us and Ahad being the most violent one.

"Ashar why don't you try and get the information for us if the girls know about it or not, since you are the favourite one." Zayn chuckled while saying.

Probably wanting to lighten up the mood.

Even though I was the girls favourite one they still wouldn't let me know about it, their bond is stronger.

"As much as I'm a favourite, they still wouldn't tell me. They think they can handle any situation on their own." I replied.

"He's right, the girls are too stubborn and they hate it when any of us helps, it's better to follow them from a distance for a while. Ahad it's your responsibility to send your bodyguards to look after them till we tackle this situation." Daniyal said.

"How is this possible? I'm not able to find any clue, this damn Lucifer has for sure taken help from someone else, there isn't any traces left behind." Rayyan exclaimed frustrated.

"It's fine guys we will all meet on the 3rd and go to the treehouse altogether and if the girls have received the letter, they will go there at any cost, so we need to make sure of their safety as well." I told them.

Everyone nodded and we all left.

I will make sure that the bastard suffers for putting us all this situation especially the girls.

Ahad's POV:

Fuck!

After the meeting with the guys, I had made sure to send my bodyguards for each of the girls safety.

Till today none of them had met each other or had gone to any shady place except for Ayra.

I wasn't sure of why exactly she had gone there, since I asked Daniyal if it was work related but he refused, that could maybe mean she was aware.

She also met Reem the day before yesterday in between her work hours which she usually doesn't as said by Daniyal.

What's surprising me is the fact that today is the day we have to meet that Lucifer bastard and right now my bodyguards have updated me that all the girls have left and are heading over to the same route, only thing is that Reem is with Ayra whereas Yasmine and Ilyana have headed separately. I quickly text the guys.

"Mission Lucifer"

Me: The girls are all heading towards the same route, Ilyana and Yasmine are alone and Reem is with Ayra. They are all probably going to the treehouse.

Daniyal: I told you all, this girl was upto something or else she wouldn't have left work.

Rayyan: Damn! The girls really do not trust us anymore :(

Ashar: Shit! We need to be there before them also why is this fucker Zayn not coming along with us?

Zayn: I told you shitheads, I have some important work to be done.

Me: What is more important than this?

Zayn: You will see ;)

Ignoring them I went towards my car.

Whoever this Lucifer is will face the wrath of us, he shouldn't have involved the girls.
